Studens lamented Goodluck should be blame for polytechnic strike


Polytechnic students leaders have called on President Goodluck Jonathan
stop the on going strike and seek for lasting solution with Academic Staff Union
of Polytechnics (ASUP) strike.

On Channels TV’s Rubbing Minds show, two Students Union Government (SUG)
Presidents, Babajide Salvado of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) and
Abdulkareem Yusuf Temitope of the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) said
students opinion to call the lingering strike off which have taken one academic section.

In report Of (SUG),nothing has been done to end the strike.
The demand of the striking lectures is for benefit of students . Government neglect for
polytechnic is obviously seen.

Salvado added that “the students are in support because majority of these
demands [ASUP’s demands] affect the students.”
