Leader of the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazurike may be losing his place, as the organization’s director of information, Mr. Uchenna Madu warned members against attending the meeting convened by him in Owerri today, describing it as an evil plan to sacrifice the blood of some members.

Madu, in a statement made available to reporters in Awka yesterday, said it was improper for Uwazurike to convene such a meeting when the mayhem that led to the loss of several lives at Okwe, Uwazurike’s home town, was yet to calm down.

“Uwazuruike has just summoned a meeting of all MASSOB members at Owerri for Saturday, 30th August, 2014. We see this as another evil plan to sacrifice the blood of some members.

“Because of the face-off between Uwazurike and the Nigeria police, there was unwarranted death of some members from Onitsha at Okwe on the order of Chief Ralph Uwazurike recently.

“The death of our members from Onitsha has exposed the selfishness and insensitivity of MASSOB leader who uses the organization to enrich himself.”

“MASSOB lost 18 members in Onitsha during the last sit at home exercise on June 08, 2013 which was a total flop. In fact, their names no longer exist in MASSOB register.

“Our members should be aware that security situation in Imo state is not healthy for MASSOB because of the ongoing crisis and death of our members at Okwe recently.

“This Owerri meeting is merely to create tension and bloody encounters which may result to sacrificing more innocent lives.

“Because of Uwazurike’s actions, MASSOB members are no longer interested in Nigeria politics. Since he threw MASSOB into the open market of Nigeria politics, anybody, group or political party who needs MASSOB members’ political support, campaign and vote should also involve MASSOB regional administrators, zonal leaders and national officials in their discussions and modalities for them to succeed,” the statement by Madu read

Demanded the a sum of 10 million naira from the customer,planned by this three staff Namely;Sunday Okon, 23; Rita Emmanuiel, 28; and Goodness Akpan 24; all staff of an undisclosed hotel in the Ogudu area of Lagos were yesterday August 28th arraigned before an Ogudu Chief Magistrate Court in Lagos for allegedly filming a hotel customer's sex act on August 13th and using it to blackmail him.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, the three accused persons used the hotel's CCTV to record an unidentified man's sex act with his girlfriend. They produced a DVD on it and used it to demand a N10million ransom from the man. They also posted the video on Facebook on Aug 13th and 23rd after the man refused to pay up.

The suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges and were granted N100,000 bail each with two sureties of like sum. They were moved to the Kirikiri prison pending the time they meet their bail conditions while the case was adjourned till September 19th.

Sean Kingston has been sued by a New York City jeweler for refusing to pay for several pieces of jewelry including watches and chains.

The lawsuit was filed yesterday in New York and states that the singer purchased more than $200,000 worth of ice from Avi Da Jeweler from 2008-2013 but never paid for any of it.
Also in the suit, Avi claims Kingston issued cheques over the years but all of them bounced.

Avi revealed that the orders included watches and chains (two featuring Kingston's initials), a diamond "Jesus piece," a belly button chain and a cubic zirconia necklace and bracelet.

Adding that the 'Beautiful Girl' hit-maker never returned a $12,000 ring he allegedly loaned for a "106 & Park" appearance.

Avi is now claiming that Kingston owes him $226,200 and he wants more millions in punitive damages. 

Kingston has not yet responded to this suit, reported by TMZ.

The Cable news made it clear for the dissolution of the marriage between Christ Embassy Church founder, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and his wife, Rev. Anita Odegwa Oyakhilome.

The wife is seeking divorce on the grounds of “unreasonable behaviour” and “adultery”. She outlined several allegations against the pastor which cannot publish for legal reasons. Efforts to reconcile the popular couple, whose church is one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and has branches all over world, have failed. They have two teenage daughters, Sharon and Charlyn.

Oyakhilome is the president of Believers’ Love World Inc, the registered name of the Christian ministry, while his wife is the vice-president. The pastor, according to an elder of the church, has denied allegations of adultery and believes his wife is being influenced by “bad friends” who are intent on destroying their home. While Anita believes she has been relegated in the scheme of things in the church, her husband has reportedly accused her of trying to usurp power and authority above her seniors in the ministry. Sources told TheCable that the pastor had been making efforts to avoid divorce in the hope that the wife would eventually have a change of mind. However, the decree nissi was served on the charismatic pastor in his hotel room during a recent visit to the UK. Decree nissi, in legal terms, is like a yellow card in a football match which is a precursor to a red card (“decree absolute”) if no new evidence is provided to stall proceedings. From a source who is very close to the beautiful movie star, that Tola left for South Africa some months ago. According to what was disclosed from the source, this is the reason she has not been active in the Yoruba movie circle, where she has a lot of fan base.

“Tola has relocated to South Africa since February. She is no more in Nigeria. She only comes in to spend few days and leave,” the informant told Nigeriafilms.com.

“She even celebrated her birthday in South Africa in July, it was a big one. Many people were there, i can even send you photographs,” the source said further.

When pressed to disclose why the actress relocated from Nigeria to South Africa, it was told that Tola now runs her business in the former apartheid country, which is doing well over there.

Fan throws an object at footballer after match, which hits his head and resulted to his death

Albert Ebossé Bodjongo (pictured below) was killed yesterday Aug. 23rd, after being struck in the head by an object thrown from the stands by an angry fan after his team lost 2-1 in a home defeat during an Algerian league game.

24 year old Cameroonian striker Albert and his team mates were leaving the field at the end of a match between his club JS Kabylie and USM Alger in Tizi Ouzou, when an angry fan threw what is believed to be a rock.

Albert, who had scored the sole JSK goal, died a few hours later in the hospital.

His club, JS Kabylie, published a statement yesterday on its website saying his death will be investigated.
'The Ministry of Interior and Local Government, speaking through minister Tayeb Belaiz, has given an instruction to open an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Albert Ebosse." The statement read
Kabylie captain Ali Rial told reporters that Albert died in his arms as he accompanied him to the hospital in the ambulance. 
"I'm depressed, it's real drama and I do not know if I'll get over it. He died in my arms, I still cannot believe we have lost him forever. He was a good man, God rest his soul."

Chris Brown was shot during LA nightclub party;target missed

Breaking news reported from Daily Mail and TMZ, singer Chris Brown was 'shot at' 1:30am pre-VMAs party at 10AK night club in LA.

The suspected gunmen were apprehended by police, as officers searched the nightspot for clues and quizzed revellers over the events of the night.

Roads around the nightclub were immediately sealed off by police, as the nightclub was evacuated, with several partygoers detained for questioning.

Guests at the event had also included singer Justin Bieber and rapper The Game.

Katie Clendon, thought to have been inside the club, said via her Twitter account that she thought Brown had been the intended target.

'Literally can't believe what I just witnessed. Someone tried to fire shots at Chris Brown at 10Ak. Speechless. Prayers to all those harmed by this. Honestly still in disbelief this happened.' she wrote

Suge Knight was shot twice and taken to the hospital by ambulance where he's currently in surgery ... eyewitnesses and Suge's family tell TMZ.

Tyson Beckford, Robert Richard and Apple de Ap all tell TMZ ... there were inside the pre-VMA party hosted by Chris Brown when they heard 4 shots ring out inside the club.

Suge walked out on his own power ... a cop spotted him and walked the rap mogul to the police car where Suge sat.  Suge was then put in an ambulance and taken to a local hospital.

We do not know the nature of Suge's injuries.  Multiple sources now tell us Suge was one of 3 people were were shot.  At least 1 is in critical condition.

The night started with tension.  An hour-and-a-half before the shots, Game came to the club and he and his buddies got into an altercation with security guards ... there was a full-on fight.  Game tried to get in was denied and left, but his buddies stayed behind.  We do not know if they were involved in the altercation.
Nothing happened to Chris Brown who hosted the party.

Dennis (pictured left) who turned himself in for observation after falling ill 14 days after his fiancée Justina died, was certified free of the virus and discharged from the Isolation center yesterday evening August 23rd after tests carried out on him showed he didn't have Ebola.

Narrating how Justina fell ill and later died, Dennis said Justina, who was two months pregnant when the illness started, began vomiting on him and then collapsed in his presence before he immediately rushed her to the hospital. He said while she was admitted at the isolation center, he hung around the hospital occasionally going into the Ebola ward to cater for her as nurses and doctors abandoned her to her fate at the treatment center.
Justina was the nurse who attended directly to Patrick Sawyer at the First Consultant Hospital.
