What: Boko Haram taken over the 2nd largest city in Borno?

Boko Haram militants have taken another city in Borno State.
And that is the second largest city, "Bama",

This morning, there was a fierce gun battle between the insurgents and Nigerian troops.
Report says that they managed to overpower the Nigerian troops who engaged them in a fierce gun battle today.

In the City of Bama, where they conquered Nigerian troops they hoisted their flag.
Bama is just one hour ride from the state capital, Maiduguri.

SR reports that several soldiers were killed during the gun battle, many of them are missing, while over 100 soldiers who sustained serious injuries are currently being treated at the MRS hospital in Maimalari Barracks.

An intelligence source told Sahara that only a few soldiers, in four armored tanks, were seen near Yezaram River and that the unit was in no way capable of re-taking Bama from the militants.

From the source, there's been a curfew in Maiduguri, that it is likely air strikes will be deployed at Bama and civilians may be requested to leave the town of Bama.

Seriously,I begin to pity our soldiers, because report said earlier that Nigerian military don't have enough weapons that can be used to trash the insurgents.
